Field Trip on February 27th Where: Lyonia Preserve (www.lyoniapreserve.com) Day: Saturday, February 27, 2010 Time: 11:00 A.M. (if we want to caravan or share a ride, we can depart from the Brannon Center around 10:15) Florida nature photographer, Lee Dunkel (www.leedunkel.com) has agreed to be our host at the Lyonia Preserve. The morning will start with a personal tour of her exhibit. We will break for lunch. And then we’ll have a guided tour of the Environmental Center followed by a photographic “safari ” through various trails at the preserve. Lee will be our guide answering any questions. This a great opportunity for a hands-on lesson on Central Florida nature photography by a celebrated photographer. For lunch, there is a café at the preserve where we can purchase sandwiches and beverages. Tour of the Environmental Center is $5.00. The Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to nature conservancy through education, exploration and community involvement.
