My name is Richard Olsen. I have lived in St Paul, Minnesota all
my life. When I retired in 1990, I moved my winter address to Sugar Mil Country Club in New Smyrna beach. I first became interested
in photography when I was stationed in Korea in 1953. I bought my first Nikon S-2 rangefinder there. The 1963 self portrait
was taken with that camera when I was 29 years old. I joined the Southeast Volusia Camera Club three years ago, but the first
club I was a member of was The St. Paul Camera Club which I joined in 1960. At that time I had a darkroom and did only black
and white photography. Currently I use a Olympus 510 Digital and am interested in all types of subjects in both color and
b&w.
