Welcome to the SEV Camera Club/Shutterbug Workshops website.

The SEV Camera Club meets the fourth Monday of each month 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Shutterbug Workshops are the second Tuesday of each month 7:15 - 9:15 pm.

The meetings are held at the:
Edgewater Public Library
103 W Indian River Blvd.
Edgewater, FL 32141

The Southeast Camera Club Seeks:

To provide an exciting and informative atmosphere for those just starting out on their photography journey and for advanced and professional photographers as well.
To expose our members to a vast amount of knowledge, and experiences, through our Shutterbug Workshop's guest speaker programs, and field trips.

To Provide opportunities for our members to showcase their photos not only through our monthly club photo contents, but through various venues outside our organization.

We invite visitors to attend our meetings as our guests.

At the April 25th Monthly Meeting, New Officers Were Selected to serve through December 2012:

Tom Voight (President), Elena Wells (1st VP/Judging), Tammy Copeland (Treasurer)

Marie Goodrich (Secretary), Tom Frisinger (Education Director), Aletha Green (2nd VP/Scoring).

A huge thank you goes out to retiring officers Lola Lawrence, Dick Olsen, Jerry Stone, and Bill Watkins.

Mark Robertson Judge for April- "Through A Window" Theme

We extend our appreciation to Mark Robertson for his astute judging and critiquing of our monthly photo competition. Mark is co-owner of Beach Photo and Video, Florida's full service camera store and professional digital photo lab serving our area since 1936.

Life In Edgewater Photo Contest

On March 31st, the Southeast Volusia Camera Club sponsored a highly successful Photo Contest in partnership with "Edgewater Expo Inc. 2012"

Shutterbug Workshop
May 8th- 7:15 pm

An Evening With Don Bok.

The racing completed earlier this year at the Daytona International Speedway marked the completion of 50 years that Don Bok has been on the photo staff there. In recognition, Don was presented with a framed photo taken at the Speedway 50 years ago.

Don(left), shown with Tom Frisinger (Club Educational Director), explained the techniques he uses for both Day and Night shots, showed the equipment (cameras, lens, flashes, extenders) and tied it together with a host of images.
